Promos auto cancel?

So, I was waiting to start my last game for plat promotion, and I hear the que noise, but nothing pops up. Okay cool no big deal. I get que restricted for 6 minutes and my best of 5 is canceled? Ummmm..... Am I missing something?

Played another game, won it, got replaced in promos.

Okay, upon further inspection more has occurred, My promos now show as 3 losses 1 win, yet I'm still in promos. This is after 1 game in the new promo.
