Client Crash

Last Friday, I was playing normally, no issues. Then on I believe tuesday? (whenever the hotfix for re-enabling WW came out, or shortly after) My client just... stopped working. It'll patch to about 15-30% and then stop, and it will softlock my computer, but the launcher still runs. I cannot do anything besides move my mouse during this time, and I have to fully restart in order to get back to using my computer normally. This lockup also prevents me from doing anything within the client; I can't do anything that brings a new window, though I did manage to get into the full repair window one time before the lockup. The kicker is that even that crashed, locking up my system. I've run HRT and even manually uninstalled/reinstalled. The legacy client STILL UPDATES NORMALLY, promoting my client to the new one, but the new client does NOT. I have also been USING the new client since it became openly available and have had no issues until now. My aggravation isn't that it doesn't work, its that it stopped for seemingly no reason. I've full uninstalled/reinstalled several times (even deleted the leftover files and registry keys) and I've tried "dirty" uninstalling, I've tried (to no avail) to use Hextech Repair; both for repatching (which causes HRT to crash!!!) and for both dirty and clean reinstallations. I believe what happens is potentially windows gets "tricked" and crashes explorer.exe and can't reboot it (hence the soft lock) However I'm not a whizkid and can't say for sure.

I was wondering if Anybody else had this issue or something similar and maybe offer a fix? Thank you!
