Mac High Sierra Crash

There's been a bug with Mac High Sierra users crashing within the first 5-10 mins in the start of the game thats been going around for about 4 months now with no solutions at all. The screen would just close randomly and it would just pop up with a report a bug menu, with no bugsplat. There's a discussion like 4 months ago about it as well, but it doesn't seem to have any solid solutions for it. Sort of reposting this to raise awareness to this bug, since it's extremely infuriating dying in the first few minutes of the game and losing the game as a result of this bug. After playing this game for so long, it really makes me want to quit if there's no solution to this soon. It's literally impossible to climb starting the games with a kill disadvantage and being behind 1-2 levels the whole game as a result of the crash. If anyone's found an actual solution to this, please feel free to share it.

even for a high end $4500 mac book pro, my client was crashing all day. This shit is so annoying.

I still have this issue. Sometimes occurs later in the game as well. I've got a macbook pro, 2015, 15-inch. I'm on version 10.13.3 ios. I use a wired internet connection and the ping and FPS is usually good. I've submitted a ticket around Christmas and sent in logs but no improvement yet. I just want riot to send some feedback about this issue (e.g. they understand there is an issue, not the mac's fault/riots fault, we're working on it or something).

It's not a bug. If you are still using the 2013 mac air and you are on high sierra, your game will crash within 5-7 minutes your game starts. It happened to me for over 3 months too, when I got my 2017 MacBook, I never experienced it again. So I feel riot has stopped catering to players with older mac versions.

For everyone in this thread...

Have you tried turning off Hot Corners?
Have you tried turning off "Shake Mouse Pointer to Locate?"

I believe by default, hot corners are turned off, but Shake Mouse Pointer is on. Go to your Accessibility settings, to Display, and there should be a check box you can uncheck.

Same damn problem as all you guys. Very frustrating to immediately be behind in a game because you get booted from the game within the first 10 minutes repeatedly. Especially in terms of the grading like if you're chasing an S or something it is hard to come back from. Wish riot would address it in some way. Really frustrating.

The Mac client is a second class citizen. Always has been. There are just not enough players that play on macs. I suspect the only reason we even have a Mac client is not because of the player base, but because a few of the riot developers are huge Mac fans. After all, it’s a wonderful platform for development and content creation. To put into perspective, the Mac client is still referred to as “beta” nearly 10 years after its launch.

So I have a solution. Sorry for my English. So u have to set ur monitor resolution (in mac settings) same as u have in game. In mac settings u have to choose between "looks like 1400*900/ 1650/1920 So I put 1400 900 as I have mbook 15 and never crush since. If it helps add me and present a skin))

Any update for this? This game is unplayable as my game keeps crashing. PLEASE RIOT DO SOMETHING FOR YOUR MAC PLAYERS OR IM DONE WITH THIS GAME
