Gamebreaking URF bug?

So, I've heard I'm not the only one having this issue, but urf mode seems to cancel half of my abilities mid cast. Is anyone else getting this? Varus is my key example. I'll be getting ready to launch a Q, when suddenly, my cast radius disappears, and I'm unable to recast. Leaving me stranded, charging my Q until it dissipates, unable to do anything in the middle of a team fight because your stuck in that charging state. I've had it happen with multiple champs now, but it doesn't happen at all in regular rift or aram. I've looked into another post that seemed to talk about the same issue, but I can assure to the riot employee that addressed that one, this is NOT a skill buffer issue.
