[CRASH] Firewall error since Sunday patch

Since the patch this morning, I have been receiving this error upon creation of a custom game, or even trying to join a normal game.

"Unable to connect to server. If you have a firewall, it may be blocking the connection. Please refer to your firewalls documentation. Would you like to retry the connection?"

My firewall settings have remained the same / unchanged since before and after the patch. What gives? Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

I had this same problem. I reset my Mac Airport. Then within LoL client, at the top right go to PREFERENCES, then check box "Enable PvP sharing" (something like that). Mine was UNCHECKED, have no idea why. This worked for me.
