I simultaneously got level 5 mastery and an S+ with Vi in my last game. I got the notification for getting a mastery token, but later checked my material stash to find out I never actually got the token. I unfortunately don't have a screen shot to show, but I'm not sure if its intended to not receive a mastery token and maybe the chat was bugged.... either way I figured I would post it here.
ModWuks1 votesThat wasn't a notification you got a Mastery 6 token; that was a notification that tells you how the Mastery 6/7 system works. But yes, the two notifications look strikingly similar.

Yeup! You'll see the same message (with a different champion image) each time you reach level 5 mastery on a champion.
