Champ Select Freezing (Causing 5 minute dodge bans etc.)

I am experiencing freezes during champ select in ranked draft champ select. This is happening on an annoyingly frequent and regular basis...maybe once or twice a week? And I don't play all that many games each week.

Basically, I get into champ select, everything is going fine and dandy, people are pickin' champs, then it shows that one person (usually an enemy player) let the timer drop to 0 seconds before locking in, but it stays that way and nothing happens. Sometimes the game eventually indicates that everyone left the chat room, but I remain and have to close out the entire client and restart, or on occasion it will kick me back to the game queue screen and shows that I failed to lock in my champ or ban in the chat box.

Either way, when I try to queue up for another match, it says that I dodged and punishes me with a 5-10 mins wait before I can queue again, which feels pretty unfair, is very annoying, and makes me not want to play this game anymore.

Riot "Solved" my problem by telling me to post here...Hope y'all got a fix for this.
