Rift Herald animation cancelling?? Disapears and does not complete spawn

So i was playing a flex queue game with friends and we got the Herald, I was spawning it after getting a pick on Zac at mid lane, while spawning it i was clicking around and the spawn did not actually complete, and it disappeared. It didnt go back to my inventory either. I let Riot know and they are going to look into it. Anyone else experience??
