/remake didn't work when someone disconnected before 3 minutes

if they connected to the game before d/cing then /remake won't work.
Hello! One of the main and unfortunately not well-known reason (I cannot back this up with proof, as I lost the information where I believe a Riot employee mention this) why you may not be able to /remake when someone has disconnected from the start is... a disconnected player keeps trying to connect to the game but failing to do so.
If that's not the case, then there's something else in the game that occurred and I can't tell you what unless I see everything.
######If I'm wrong about remembering a Riot employee mentioning this, it's somehow a product of my imagination o.o.
