Urgots e won't lock on?

Was playing a game with urgot when I landed my e it did not matter if they were legitimately right in front of my face it refused to lock on to anyone pretty sure my e's were landing to because whenever it hit they had a green glow underneath them was very annoying I've noticed it refusing to lock on before but this game it was just bad.
