Ahri Charm Smoothly Went Through Anivia... It missed?

I received a level 6 gank, we went in. Everything went very smoothly. Until the charm. It literally went right through the anivia causing her to survive just a little longer and leave the trade 2/0. With us both sitting with a grey screen ? mark as hell. Kinda upset, kinda want LP back but its ok. Please fix this bug riot. <3. ;_;[sg-ahri-3]

This might be intended. Your charm hits her when she is stunned and airborne. I can see why she is not charmed when she was already stunned. A great example of not timing your cc wisely.

It was actually perfectly timed. As soon as she landed the charm snapped onto her.

I am guessing (because i can't pause the gif to see the exact time she lands), your charm was on her a split second before she landed. If its a matter of miliseconds, your eye wouldn't notice it, but the code would. I am not defending Riot or anything, simply suggesting a possible explanation. I have been on the receiving end of Ahri's busted hitboxes many times, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was a bug.

it didn't hit her,if you look closely you see the heart didn't stop on anivia,and she didn't get damaged by it

it's simply got bugged,as 1,5M ahri main i can ensure sometime it happen,i already reported this bug,the jungle camp bug (her charm heals them if it is used as first hit) and the champion walking bug (sometimes champions walk in the wrong way) since the PBE pre season (about 2 months before the new rune system came on live),nothing got fixed

Since i do have the clip and can slow motion, you can actually see the heart of the charm disappear as it flies past/through anivia. Making me think it was supposed to hit but did not register.

Looks more like it just hit max range to me and disappeared naturally. Ahri's E also applies particles indicating the target is stunned, so you would see Anivia with a bunch of fluttering hearts even if Zac managed to chain CC her perfectly on his own.

When the charm hits normally it disappears instantly. The charm here just went straight through her. The charm appears as if it is disappear through a coincidence in the animation and the medium used to make the charm: particle effects. The charm's "heart" is supposed to look all wispy and mystical, so it's not solid pink. The charm animation went smoothly and did what it was supposed to do, i.e. go the direction of the cursor. What did not happen is the registration of Anivia's hitbox colliding with the charm which tells the game to make the "heart" disappear and apply the "Charmed" effect to Anivia.

If I can get blitz hooked from a teemo away that charm can hit. Riots hit boxes are really uneven at best sometimes.

Do you still have the replay (the client one)? if so, download it and watch it there, that anivia jerked at the end so it may have been a lag.

I once saw a thresh hook me through minions, and then i watched the replay and realized that I spike lagged for that 1 second and my character was not behind minions.

I could go back and check. It's not a huge deal just wanted to post in case it is an issue Riot has some extra backing and or proof of a potential bug that needs to be fixed. I've played league since season 3 and as of late if been noticing a lot of bugs like this. things that should/ should not be hitting etc...

I would say you can't even charm a bird, but your from NA so you might not get it.

It just didn't hit her , perhaps somehint happened related to Zac E , I can't really see it properly , the record isn't taken well , but most likely it didn't hit her
