Boots Of Swiftness FPS Drop

Final Edit: Disregard, totally unrelated but happened to occur at the same time (perhaps exacerbated the real bug?) -- the real bug: Enabling VSync causes my audio to stutter. The stuttering audio causes the game to lag, regardless of how the game is performing otherwise. I ran HWiNFO64 on a second monitor the entire time, and nothing approached maximum values except the GPU core use rose as high as 94% at a high-pitched moment in a team fight, but otherwise sat around 35%. Nothing else even came close.

Copying from my reddit comment in the 4.20 bug megathread: • Server: NA

• Type of Bug: In-Game Bug

• Description: FPS drop caused by Boots of Swiftness

• Video / Screenshot: I'm afraid I don't have the tools for a video. A screenshot would be pointless.

• Steps to reproduce: Buy Boots of Swiftness (I've only experienced this bug with Talon, so far, and it was in a bots game, but as soon as I sold the Boots of Swiftness, my FPS returned to normal levels).

• Expected result: FPS should not be affected.

• Observed result: FPS drops from steady 60+ at all times to 30-40FPS -- not steady, more of a stuttering pattern, "feels" like a rapid fluctuation between 5-10FPS and 30-40FPS.

• Reproduction rate: 10/10, I noticed this in another bots game yesterday, but thought nothing of it then.

• System specs: Intel Core i5-4690S / NVidia EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti Superclocked 4GB / 8GB DDR3 RAM (either 1333MHz or 1600MHz) / Corsair Neutron GTX 240GB SSD (SATA3 6.0Gbps)

Edit: Inexplicably, in the match that followed this post (also playing as Talon, bots game), the game was super buggy. The same lag as mentioned before, but now with the addition of stuttering / "static-y" sounds, not cutting in-and-out but truly stuttering when they played, and it was the entire time. After setting graphics options to medium and disabling VSync, it was mostly subsided, but still there, barely. I'll keep testing to make sure it's not my GPU going out (I swear, so help me god if it's the blasted GPU going out...)

Further Edit: I ran a repair from the launcher, played another round and reset my Video settings to the usual High + VSync, and there were no more issues, so it's not the GPU. I'll check once more for the Boots of Swiftness issue (I built mobi last game...).

Bug "Megathread" xD, i just love dat... too many bugs, with connections, crashes, etc. And, yeah, I've noticed FPS drops with boots of swiftness on Nunu, it was not significant, but at some points there were spikes.

Just wait until the next patch, Riot is gonna have like 200 pages of fixed bugs... I hope.
