GAMEPLAY Nidalee spear invisible

Was playing a game with a Nidalee on the enemy team. It seems that when she cannot be seen and throws a spear through a wall, the spear becomes invisible. Not sure if that is the exact circumstances as I played the game a couple days ago, but her spear was definitely invisible, only the particle effects remained (the green swirls around the spear).
