PVP.net Patcher Kernal has stopped working

Did system update for windows 10 last night, since that when clicking on LoL to launch patcher client, instantly receive windows error message saying that PVP.net Patcher Kernal has stopped working. Windows test box pops with the general problem has caused program to stop working, will look for solution, and of course no solution. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling LoL, same error. Patched drivers, same error. Restarted computer, same error. Thats the limit of my knowledge of what might fix this. Please help!
