Stuck in Champ Select, Get Penalized for Being AFK/Dodging, Lose Promos, Fun Game

I'm not sure why this problem has been consistently prominent in this patch as I have never had this problem before. This is what my experience with the bug has been like. I'm trying to ban a champion and the counter reaches 0, I've clicked lock in about 20 times and nothing happens. Next thing I know it's instantly my turn to select a champion even though I'm 4th-5th pick. I try to lock in my champion, the same thing happens, the timer is frozen at 0 and I chose my champion 30 seconds prior and keep trying to lock in. It doesn't register apparently and it says I dodged. This is the third time it has happened and because of it I lost my promos and I'm currently in a 25 minute dodge queue.

Another thing that occasionally happens is that I'm actually able to select my champion but then right before the game starts the timer just stays at 0 and I'm still stuck in champion select. I wait it out for 20 minutes but by the time anything loads, its the after game screen saying that I was AFK and the game was remade. This bug has been one of the most frustrating bugs I have ever encountered, I just want to play the game. If I didn't lose any LP I wouldn't be as bothered by it, but the fact that I can't play and I'm being punished for something entirely out of my control is infuriating. I believe in total I have lost 60 LP and have lost 1 promo as I stated previously. I'm also confident that it is not a problem with my computer or internet as everything else I do runs smoothly. Please. Fix. This. Bug.

My game has been freezing since this new patch and I already received a leaverbuster. I sent in a ticket at 6 this morning and still no reply. I see that this is becoming more common here in the forums now, wtf is riot doing?

I just had this happen to me. I relogged and then selected my champ only to find it locked my summoners into jg role when it qued me as a support. I couldn't take smite off. I quickly logged out again after hoping to still be put into the matchmaking lobby with the champ I selected and able to change summoners. Instead it gave me a "dodge" and stripped me of some LP and gave me an afk penalty. This season has been exceptionally terrible for the amount of money they are pulling in from prestige skins + events. A client being this buggy on live should not even be a thing.
