FPS Drops in game?

I used the overlay of Blitz to get a cs counter. After turning of the overlay everthing works well again. Give it a try if you use Blitz overlay.

same problem. i have 2080ti wos running league with 400 fps now it drops to 20 fps every 30 sec or so cant play like that. asked players on other team same problem on 50% of them . I guess we have to wait for the fix :(

I have the same problem... fps drop spikes (little freezes). Yesterday (11/20/19) till 23 o lock everthing worked well. Today 5am I have freezes. Unplayable...

FPS drops and ping spikes have been happening a lot lately in my few games of experience

Yes. I also have this issue. On medium settings, my laptop averages 150 fps, on low settings, my latop averages 200300fps in game. However, I am getting severe fps drops every 1020second or so.

My latop is 4700hq // 16gb ram // 770m // windows 10 pro. I never had this issue before the pre-season update. Please fix this riot.

Yes. Same thing happening. here. I never had frame drops like this before 2020 pre-season patch. Ever since that patch on 11-19-2019, I am getting severe frame drops every 520 second consistently. My laptop's spec is 4700hq, 16gb ram, 770m, windows 10. Its an old laptop, but it definitely meets both minimum/recommended requirements. With medium in-game graphic settings i get 150+fps, and with low in-game graphic settings i get 200300fps. However it doesn't matter how high my fps is, because i will still get severe fps drop consistently. This never happened before the preseason patch. The game is unplayable now. I really want to play league, but I am seriously considering quitting the league because of the frustration.

For me the FPS drops happen the most during the drake map changes. ESPECIALLY the Ocean Drake Map. I go from peak 120 FPS down to anywhere between 60 FPS on light action and 40 FPS on heavy team fight abilities everywhere on that map. My friend that plays on 240 FPS goes down to half of that at 120 FPS on the new Ocean Drake Map.

I have it where it just freezes from .5 seconds to 5 seconds at a time. This costs me in team fights really badly and even makes me lose games.

I have a maxed out PC and I never had a dropped frame pre-season update, Now the freezes 2 sec every 15 seconds. Basically unplayable now.

riot optimize this patch pls. i never experienced frame drops this bad I have a dell G7 7790. I have been getting frame drops even when im all alone in lane, but when it comes to team fights its super smooth, capping my fps didn't seem to work. before the update or patch everything was so smooth but now it seems i am losing trust in this company to optimize their game. pls riot fix this.

specs: RTX 2060 CORE I7 9th Gen 16 GB RAM

same thing happening to me. pretty much unplayable. its like theres too much going on for the game to handle.. this was not an issue before this patch. im also already running it on lowest settings.
