League of legends doesn't launch

For the past couple of months leave of legends hasn't been working properly. The game opens only sometimes, usually after restarting my pc a couple of times. However, even if it opens, it either won't let me load in at all or it claims to have lost connection once it loaded. Sometimes I'm lucky and it works as usual. Once i can launch a game etc. it works perfectly fine. It is very frustrating when you invest so much money and time into once game and then suddenly it doesn't work anymore....
