I've having issues with character select. The whole process begins to stutter. It then will freeze and won't show me who's picking what champs, but I can continue to see everyone's chat, but no one can read the chat that I input. An unknown error window popped up and said to come to the forums to report.
I am getting this too. Its not my internet, it has to be something between us and the server. What internet service provider are you on? I've been getting this bug for about a week now. Lost about 70lp (Thanks Rito) No. But seriously, this should be fixed, its been happening since 5.11
I'm having the same problem and have a 'leave champ selection penalty, 5 minutes 25 minutes wait time). From what I gathered around this board, this problem seem to due to RIOT Server unable to keep up with some many people on at the same time. IP bonus week is bringing lots of people out.
