Emotes disappear when I enter Aram; yet to try other game modes. I edit my emotes then click save they show up for a while, but then disappear again. Also occasionally I notice when I record highlights there is no sound. 
Got the same problem for a few patches. Mostly happens in ARAM but also occasionally happened on the rift. Seemed like the client couldn't get the data of my saved Emotes from the server and then just assumed I didn't pick any. Also gave me errors when I tried to edit my emotes in champ select.
After Riot fixed the Augment issue the problem vanished though. But I also didn't play any ARAMs since then.
