Enemy team remakes counting as losses for Division promotion series ( best of 5, bronze to silver)

Just lost two promo series in a row due to the enemy team remaking * /r/leagueoflegends

As I explain in the reddit thread, I qualified for two best of 5 promotions during the games depicted. I realize it's a little confusing from the picture, because the remakes are followed by losses. However, if you follow the sequence, you'll see that it would be impossible for me to qualify for two promotions unless the remake was being counted as a loss.

The customer support rep I've been chatting with suggested that this was actually a visual bug, and that the brand game hadn't actually put me into promos. This seems unlikely to me, as I won 5 straight games in Bronze 1, at 23-25 LP per win. It's unclear to me how this could lead to anything other than qualifying for promos.

I was duo'ing with him when this happened, I didn't notice it in the first series until we looked at the match history from the first promo series, but the 2nd set of series he entered (which started by winning his game on Sona) we lost 2 games, which put his best of 5 at 0 wins and 2 losses, and then had a remake (AFK on the enemy team, not our own) which placed him at Bronze 1 70 LP, removing him from his best of 5 series. We then lost the next game which places him at his current Bronze 1 55 LP standing (-15 LP for the loss).
