Attack move click in 5.19 - broken?

Hi -

I used to have my attack move click bound to the left mouse button when the other day (patch release) it simply stopped functioning correctly. Attack move clicking on the ground now moves you forward as you would if you had issued a regular right click move command - which completely negates the point of using a-move all...

I did the logical thing to do and scrapped my input.ini settings and restored default settings in-game. I now have it on Shift + A, same problem. I have to say this is very troublesome, as someone who plays mainly marksmen and kiting based champions, it's really impacted my gameplay.

I've been doing some searching here and on reddit and it seems that no one else has been reporting this issue so I figured there is a chance the "bug" might be client side.

Would anyone have some insight on this?

Edit:

And for anyone confused by my OP, let me try again to explain this phenomenon:

The reason why I had to change it in the first place was because of the highly frustrating player move function that occurs when you issue attack move click out of range - this is especially annoying when you press a-move by mistake and it moves you forward unexpectedly. Observations: 1. Started happening this patch. 2. ONLY happens when issuing outside of AA range.

Another thing is this makes it almost impossible to rebind attack move click to MB1 because of the major HUD issues you will encounter (e.g. clicking literally anywhere in the shop/minimap/inventory will AUTOWALK you to a random direction.)

I recall reading there being a similar bug a whole season ago, only with the chat back then.

TL;DR: 5.19 introduced a super secret, super small Attack Move Click change that is getting on the nerves of ADC mains. Probably.

Greetings.

Try changing it again, and this time also delete the PersistedSettings.json file that you should see where your input.ini file is located.

You may have to do it this way (not sure if just the above works, test it first ^_^):

Change to "default" & delete the file mentioned above. Test in a custom Change to "the way u want it" & delete the file mentioned above. After that go into a custom and test again.

Did it work?

Here you go buddy :)

Giving this a bump... Am I really alone with this glitch?

I haven't had a problem with it since the patch. I also am a marksman so I use it a lot.

Here, we just resolved this over there. It is the PersistedSettings.json file that will rebuild the input.ini file every time you run league. So if you change the values in that file they'll be propogated to input.ini. Also check out the linked Reddit post for values to change to.
