Bug logging on with macbook

I haven't been able to log into league today despite reinstalling and trying to reload the game a number of times (I've currently been sitting here trying for about a half hour). Every time I try it says "Logging on..." in a text square, and won't ever connect. At the end it suggest I reboot (which I've done multiple times), or try and restart the client. Please help if you can! It's very frustrating and I've been trying to play all day.

Mine was like that, I just left it saying "logging on" when I went shopping, when I was back I was in. Just leave it be I guess.

Eventually it says "could not connect to pvp.net" or something along those lines.

I should also add that if I provide the wrong password it immediately informs me that my password is incorrect
