IP not going down after purchasing

I purchased runes yesterday with my IP. When I got done getting the ones I wanted, I put them in my pages. I then noticed that my IP did not go down on the top right of the client. I then went to the store to see if I could get any more runes. The prices glowed red, meaning that I did not have enough IP left. I logged out and back in to see that it still had not changed. I logged in today, but still had not gone down. When I was typing this, I went back to the client and it had changed. I am not sure if it takes a while to process the display current IP.
