I went to do the account transfer, to turn my league account into a riot one. But my username is taken? Did it just get taken? Or could my riot account be interfering with creating a new one? I believe I created a new one for the card game.
I hoping this is a bug, its been happening everywhere at least on the NA server. If this is intentional and not a bug, then Riot better make it so that we have some time to log in and keep our old usernames or they can go f**K themselves. I know its not productive, and am really hoping this is a bug and not some majorly stupid decision made by Riot and/or forced on them by Tencent. I do understand on the value of having 1 log in for all their games, but this is ridiculous.

I've logged into League of Legends for over like 6 years now with the username "pony" and my summoner name is "LittlePony" - and both are taken? So I cannot login and I closed out - because I refuse to change the name in case it locks me out.
do you possibly have your username on a different server?
i made this ridiculous username STAZZIO, and it got taken... League must be forcing new usernames all along...
