All players show as 'Not Connected' with no pictures in loading screen

While waiting for a game to load, all the champions' pictures are blank and each player show as 'Not Connected'. So far, the game does load eventually and continues as normal. I did not have this issue yesterday, and haven't encountered any Bugsplats yet.

Would anyone know the cause of this?
