Is it just me but i don't see any movement speed boost on Katarina after using her W ability. I noticed this while running back to my line trying to get there faster by pressing W when is off cooldown. Looking into my movement speed stats and the hero itself there was no change in my movement speed nor my stats after pressing W. I am on EUNE server.

Its when you hit something and its a short duration.

I'm pretty sure it only gets the bonus movement speed when you hit something.

you only get it when you hit champions
