Patcher is not Working

Every time I try to launch the league of legends game I get an error message telling me that the pvp.net patcher kernal has stopped working and the program has crashed. I have tried uninstalling completely and that had no effect. As of right now i am unable to do anything else because i cannot even open up to the patcher to use the repair tools. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
