I see floating health bars but no unites for several champions and jungle units

When i was in game today i was playing against a Katarina and when she came up to me all i saw was a floating health bar with her name on it. That was only the first unit, J4 and several jungle units including but not limited to baron, dragon, golem, and lizard elder whatever the hell that thing is called now. This problem persisted throughout the rest of the game and still in every game i get into a few champions randomly have no unit and those jungle units don't exist outside of their health bars.
