Cait And Bard Ults Bug

If Caitlyn uses her ultimate and Bard uses his on top of Cait before its shot, her ult still goes on cooldown. The reason why I think this is a bug is because normally if someone kills the target that Cait was about to fire at, her ult goes on a short (recharge) cooldown and is able to use the ult again, even when interrupted I am pretty sure Cait's ult still doesn't go on cooldown.
