Masteries page not taking effect when choosing or manually changed

Today I had to forfeit a promo game because when selecting my mastery page it would not change to the page I selected instead it kept selecting my 1st mastery page and even when I reset points and tried to manually choose masteries it reset back to original page again. I dropped out of lobby because I felt that it was not in the teams best interest to play with a bruiser jungle with AP masteries selected.

Yeah ive been getting this pretty often, have to restart the client to fix it. Even then it still comes back though.

I've run into this problem as well.

I think, even though it doesn't update well during champion select, it does take effect in the game.
