The client freezes my PC for about 30 seconds [CLIENT]

The first time I run the LoL Client (after turning my pc on), it freezes my whole PC (even the cursor doesn't move) for about 30 seconds and after that, I must relog in order to make it work properly (it looks like on the screen after freezing). It doesn't prevent me from playing the game but is very annoying. P.S. It happens every time I log in for the first time after turning my PC on. I run a Win7 Pro and had no problems 'till the last patch.

I had the same issue, I formatted my PC and it worked fine after. It took less then an hour to clean up my machine.

I'm having the exact same issue! I play on a daily basis and can confirm that this has been happening since patch 5.5 came out. I´m running Windows 8.1.
