Every game I play, around the 5 - 10 minute mark, my game will start to be delayed. For example, I would be casting a Lux's Q and it would take 10 seconds to cast. I also witnessed a significant drop in my FPS. Can someone please explain/help me out with this problem?
There is currently no fix, nor any indication to who or why this happens and Riot haven't said anything about this themselves despite this bug occurring for the last two patches.
So I have no clue as to when this'll be fixed.
What makes it worse is that the bug happens between the 6-10 min mark (on average) and will definitely happen each game lasting about 2-3 mins, completely ruining any tempo you have.
Based on my experience the bug doesn't seem to be related to computer specs as this bug occurs on my main account but not my pbe one. Most probably due to some sort of file/setup difference between the two.
If you wish to do the new year missions (the compulsion to not leave things unfinished) I suggest to do bots, otherwise we're stuck till a fix somehow pops up.
All in all just send a help ticket with as much info as you can give and hope it gets picked up.
EDIT: also the bug seems to affect only keyboard inputs (all keyboard inputs) mouse based actions are unaffected at all aka manual mouse casting can happen without the lag affecting it (even while the keyboard lags).
On RU boards RIOT post this https://boards.ru.leagueoflegends.com/ru/c/general/KXax2ZRl-a-l-92 it's all about this FPS bug after 5-10min in game, they not fix this until next 2patch so you(and me) will suffer) you can try to follow some of steps, but don't hope this help for you. Also when FPS drops to 0 on 5-10min you need to pres ALT+F4 and leave, then reconnect, its faster than waiting until drops missing.
