Every game I play, around the 5 - 10 minute mark, my game will start to be delayed. For example, I would be casting a Lux's Q and it would take 10 seconds to cast. I also witnessed a significant drop in my FPS. Can someone please explain/help me out with this problem?
Masked Lunatic4 votesThere is currently no fix, nor any indication to who or why this happens and Riot haven't said anything about this themselves despite this bug occurring for the last two patches.
So I have no clue as to when this'll be fixed.
What makes it worse is that the bug happens between the 6-10 min mark (on average) and will definitely happen each game lasting about 2-3 mins, completely ruining any tempo you have.
Based on my experience the bug doesn't seem to be related to computer specs as this bug occurs on my main account but not my pbe one. Most probably due to some sort of file/setup difference between the two.
If you wish to do the new year missions (the compulsion to not leave things unfinished) I suggest to do bots, otherwise we're stuck till a fix somehow pops up.
All in all just send a help ticket with as much info as you can give and hope it gets picked up.
EDIT: also the bug seems to affect only keyboard inputs (all keyboard inputs) mouse based actions are unaffected at all aka manual mouse casting can happen without the lag affecting it (even while the keyboard lags).

Masked Lunatic1 votesI currently don't have this specific time based bug anymore, but I currently have the dumb frame drop bug that came 3 patches ago (the game is literally unplayable for me once more - and guess what it's urf time again).
The bug (the old one) for me might have been due to having both pbe and normal clients interfering with each other because when I completely uninstalled them both and reinstalled them the bug went away after a few days. Maybe you can also try updating your drivers? because sometimes issues arise from not updating them.
You also might actually just be experiencing a variant of the new bug like me (people have complained of lagging for specific times / over the whole game (heavy repetitive frame drops)).
The only speculation with this newer bug is that there is some issue with how league interacts with dual core processors (and we can't do anything about it).
I'm honestly getting sick of league and riot, I have had a game breaking bug pop up every time Urf comes around (usually appears beforehand and just persists for so long that urf comes and goes). I can't play any game in league without feeling guilty that I'm just dragging my team down no matter how hard I may try.

Also when FPS drops to 0 on 5-10min you need to pres ALT+F4 and leave, then reconnect, its faster than waiting until drops missing.
