Crashing During Champion Select - Result Dodge Penalty

This happened to me last night and now tonight. I'm in Normal Draft queue and I select my champion to ban. The timer reaches zero and nothing happens. I'm playing with friends through discord and they tell me it's my turn to pick. I still am at the ban selection and then it looks like I don't pick, resulting in a dodge and a dodge penalty. Riot can you look into this bug and let me know what's the problem? And hopefully no more penalties? Thanks
