[Client] LCU Crash upon Login

So, I originally posted this in help and support as this:

So for some reason ever since 7.1 my client has been crashing immediately after I log in every single time with no messages or warning. Typically it happens so fast after i login that I never even see the lobby/news screen, but occasionally it lasts just long enough to get to that screen before crashing- and something I've noticed is that my friendlist is never connected before I crash, if that helps.

Oddly, the legacy client seems to work just fine, its strictly the LCU that seems to be 'broken' for me. I've tried repairing the client and fully clean reinstalling the game, but neither have helped the problem at all, it starts crashing again as if nothing was changed. I've also tried toggling low spec mode and disabling all animations before logging in in case somehow that was related at all, but that didn't help either.

While technically this isn't that big of an issue since I can just use the legacy client, its still rather annoying, and some help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I then brought it to support after being given a fix that didn't solve the issue, and after a string of every imaginable fix, including clean-reinstalling the game around ~6 times, modifying config files, trying VPNs, and setting up manual firewall bypass/portforwarding, nothing actually fixed it.

It was at this point that I sent in a video of the problem, and was told to post a summary here as well:

This is a very interesting bug because you are able to get into the LCU and accept notifications. If you haven't already, I recommend posting a description of what happened on our bug report Board:

NA- http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/bug-report

We will be looking into this issue. I can't provide a timeline for when we might see a fix on this issue, but thank you again for the report. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

So, here I am, providing a description of the problem and a TL:DR of all the steps we've taken so far.
