Is aery working as intended ?

The linked video is a replay of one of my games. I was on the borderline of the bush and the aery revealed itself, revealing my position.

When it happened, I was like OMG CHEAT ! But then I watched the replay and with the enemy's fog of war, I understood that the Aery revealed my position.

Shouldn't the aery be cloaked by the bush, just like the user is cloaked by the bush ? Is it a bug ? Is it working as intended ?
