I was silver 1 in preseason and dominated my placements and somehow got in bronze 3 is the ranked system bugged?

I presume you were bronze 3 to silver 1 last season. Promos really just place you approximately where you left off the season before. There was a soft reset, so probably placed you a bit lower.
I ended last season plat 5, went 6-4 in promos, now Gold III.
Though, when I win, I tend to gain a more LP than when I lose, so climbing back should be quick.
Just climb back.
Usually Riot would set the players a few tiers below where they are and i think that was reasoned because of the master/challenger tier reset. Also, Just curious, what rank was your duo in preseason?
