Today I Updated my client to the Beta client and when I load into any game on Summoner's Rift (even when using legacy client) The Game crashes within 10 min of game starting or during the loading screen. even not allowing me to ctrl+alt+delete or alt+Tab out freezing my computer forcing me to reboot my PC. Every game I played today on Summoner's Rift Crashes but on Twisted Treeline and Howling abyss the game does not crash
I knew someone else had this problem too!
But it only happened to me once

I'm not familiar with the Alpha client so you may want to ask on their boards. If I were to take a guess, I'd say the freezing might be due to the Xbox Game Bar game bar which has been causing this issue for some players. If you have Windows 10, I recommend checking that out. Good luck!
Bump... hi, I got this problem like last year when I was playing on the new client. I tried to fix it by my own ignoring the beta client, and it only happens in the beta not in the legacy client. I don't agree with Riot saying that they will close the old client and make people use the new one, the beta client also made me get into the LeaverBuster thing, if this issue happens I have to wait like 20 min for only a game for 5 matchmade games. I never afk or quit a game, only happens with the load screen issue with the beta.
ive been on the beta client since it came out and the past of couple of weeks right after champ select it would kick me from the game and give me the option to reconnect but when i click reconnect it doesnt do anything so i would have to exit and re login. so then i deleted league from my computer and re downloaded it and when i try to update to the beta client it would say error re install alpha client. so i would just install league with out trying to update beta client, then after the alpha client was done i was able to log in to league. then i tried updating the beta client again and then it crashed my league and i had to re download it again. so as of now i can use beta client or itll crash my league.
