Kicked from lobby for not picking a champ (I did)

By far one of the most obvious bugs I've ever seen with the client. I picked my champion. I was second pick. We got all the way to the final pick and the timer began for starting the match. Then once it hits 0, I get kicked from the lobby for not selecting a champ. Wtf? I swear the old client was never this buggy....
