[CLIENT] LoL tried to patch in champion select - locked me out of loading the game

Towards the end of champion select, the UI froze as the enemy team was picking (countdown sat at "0" for 20+ seconds). The game never loaded, and closing the client game me the dodge warning . I restarted my computer, at which point League told me I had a client patch waiting. I was then able to load in the game, albeit a few minutes late.
