[GAMEPLAY] Yi and Sejuani ignores Singed's Mega Adhesive root

When you flip Master Yi with his ult on or Sejuani with her passive untouched, both will ignore the root on Singed's Mega Adhesive.

For Yi:

  1. Have Yi turn on his ult
  2. Fling Yi onto Mega Adhesive while his ult is still up
  3. He just walks out normal

For Sejuani:

  1. Leave her passive frost armor untouched
  2. Fling her onto the Mega Adhesive
  3. She walks out without being affected until her frost armor breaks Both can be reproduced 100%

Working as intended. If they can't be slowed they can't be rooted. Same thing happens with Viktor's W.

ur totally right man, at least with yi, im main singed, and been wondering how the fuck i dont root him by flinging him into my mega-adhesive, plz rito, fix this, its bringing me a lot of trouble in my games

It must be programmed like this since the addition of Singed getting a root as a reward for flinging his target into his adhesive is relatively new.

  1. Master Yi actives HIghlander, granting him slow immunity
  2. Singed Flings Master Yi towards Super Mega Adhesive
  3. Master Yi is now in Super Mega Adhesives area of effect
  4. Super Mega Adhesive will always try to apply slow while it persists in the field
  5. Super Mega Adhesive will only root if the game can confirm that Master Yi is within Super Mega Adhesive's AoE by checking if Master Yi is under it's debuff
  6. Since the debuff is not applied the game will not apply the additional rooting effect

I believe it would be programmed this way since confirming Singed's Fling target for a root would also require knowing 3 locations: target current location, target's new fling location, and Super Mega Adhesive's location and radius. This would have been the easiest solution to come up with to allow Singed's adhesive to gain the additional effect.
