hey! i started playing LOL,about 4-5 years ago and due to studies had to quit playing... so,after clearing high school, i decided to play again. but there is a problem with that... my in-game abilities do not work properly... all abilities have become somewhat of a pointer thing,no radius and rage of the abilities are visible and,this problem is only associated with the older accounts..In the new account everything works just fine.

Rage? Are you taking about range indicator? I believe this may be in part due to smartcast.
How are you used to playing? Pressing an ability and it showing the indicator, then clicking to fire the ability? Or do you play with smartcast where there is no range indicator unless you hover over the ability's button in the hotbar.
There's is also smartcast with range indicators which essentially has you show the range indicator on key press, then activates the ability when the key is de-pressed.
The idea being there's less to do before activating the ability so you can fire it off faster, which is honestly a great advantage.
As of possibly the most recent patch, 6.8, the default is smartcast with indicators, I think. It's to help noobs do better. Especially with smurfs out there abusing the fact that noobs might not know how powerful smartcast is or even know about smartcast.
But enough about the description, if you want to turn it off!!! Just go into the options where you set your hotkeys and use the option near the top to disable smartcast/quickcast whatever it's called.
You can enable/disable smartcast per key with the buttons above where you would set the keybind.
