Irelia E and W interaction

when Irelia casts E (E1), her E will be set as an endpoint to Irelia herself(E2) if I don't cast E again.I realize that if I channel W in the last few seconds between E1 and E2, the E2 won't be cast itself.I know she is broken, but is it a bug?
