Mastery Token Question

Recently (as in a few days ago), I got my second Level 6 Mastery Token for Kennen . Problem is, I didn't have enough Blue Essence to unlock level 6. I JUST played a game and got an S+ (for the first time ever), but it was only after this game that I got the essence for level 6 –– so I guess it didn't give me a token for the game? Is there anywhere I can get a token towards Level 7? I literally was a game of blue essence away.
