Taric armor passive (W) not displaying on allied champions.

As title says the passive armor buff does not display on ally champion when looking at there stats while standing next to them in proper range. To be honest i have not notice a damage reduction for allies when passive up even standing melee distance away from champion in the past few games as taric. Wondering if anyone else has noticed anything.

Additional thoughts on Taric. You can never utilize his armor passive because it is such a short range of a buff because if you do stand close to allie for armor buff then you can never utilize his passive and his CD become so long. The trade off for either is never good. Even when you execute both of them at the same time i barely ever feel that the trade works out well. maybe there needs to be a slight redesign, thoughts?
