Error in Installer: Installer payload initialization failed.

I attempted to install the alpha client. I got this error immediately upon launching the installer:

> Installer payload initialization failed. This is likely due to an incomplete or corrupt downloaded file.

I redownloaded the file in Chrome and Edge with the same result.

This is the second computer I use. I installed the alpha client with no problems on the first one. Both machines are similar Windows 10 machines.
