Disappearing loot box

Just today got a loot box and when i pressed open nothing happened and i couldn't interact with the any of the loot items, so i clicked on store to tab out and went back into loot and saw my loot box was gone but no new skin or champion. I dont get S very often which makes this very frustrating. Hope you can help riot.
