Can't add my friend.

"YIKES! An internal server error has occurred, please try again later." I've been trying to add my friend for a week. I can add other people. Can't add my friend. I even tried making a custom game and using the function to add people from in there. When I did that, then checked to see if I had any pending requests sent, the screen was stuck perpetually loading.

I've seen some posts from EUW and OCE on this topic from a over a year ago with no Riot responses or fixes in the replies. Am I just screwed until the system decides to work?
