I have had multiple times with quickcast on where I click R with Leona or playful trickster with fizz while stunned, pushing it repeatedly to get it off as soon as the stun ends, and it ends up going to regular cast. Seeing as how I always have quickcast on, this usually gets me killed. Is this an intended feature or is it a bug? I even noticed it when I mashed smite when it was seconds from coming up and it did that.
Edit: I am using quick cast with range indicators.
Same for me on Renekton. ARAM or SR. But for me, it was his E. I'd hit it and my cursor would turn into the target reticle. I couldn't ping, use minimap or buy. I'd have to wait until my E came off CD, HOLD E to bring out the arrow and then let go w/o casting just to make it go back to normal. EVERY. TIME. Very annoying.
I changed my quickcast settings back and forth to see if that would fix it to no avail. Anyone know what's going on?

Also with Ashe's W now too, it just brings up the reticle, no arrow paths,just a big circle. I dont' know if that was my doing or what but it wasn't like that earlier today. I'll look at my settings to make sure though.
This is suddenly a serious problem for me too, i was playing brand vs diana and i figured i would let her jump on me then full combo her. After she jumps on me, her pull circle thing (forgot the name) turned off my smartcast for that instance and i couldn't stun in time to stop her from killing me. This got me killed multiple times as i had no way to escape an assassin capable of crossing half the lane instantly twice. I'm assuming it's a bug because this started recently and if this is intended, it weakens mages a ridiculous amount. Also with twisted fate, using my ult made my cursor stay in the ult targeting cursor for a long time after ulting. I thought i screenshoted the tf bug but i guess not
I'm using quick cast with range indicators, same thing here. Spamming spells will fairly often lock the cursor in targeting mode. It's no problem for spells and walking, but left clicking does nothing then.
