Elise getting stunned in rappel

Elise and Ekko bug, I am not sure how often this happens, but Elise was stunned still untargetable during her rappel. This seems like a bug to me because she should not be able to be targeted and and therefore stunned until she returns to the ground as is able to be attacked. I do not believe this to be a common bug, but never the less I believe it should be brought to your attention.

I'm on the fence here. She is technically targetable until she fully ascends. However, there are a number of stun/root effects that, when timed right, she can take the damage prior to ascending while avoiding the CC, or at least could for a good while. I did it a number of times on tether roots, as an example, against either Leblanc and Morgana. Despite timing it a little late, I would take the damage during my ascend, and then still go in the air. It's possibly only because those are roots, and therefore don't actually stop your casting unless you move in a non-ascending direction. It's all a bit fuzzy.

My reasoning for thinking this is a bug it that she is stunned, but cannot be targeted through the duration making any follow up impossible. I guess the question would be is the timer still ticking for her rappel in a sense she would have to drop back down in the same stop, or would it not happen until she is full ascended giving her even more time in a state she cannot be targeted. I think it is fairly uncommon and probably not a big deal since there are only a few champions that have a stun that cause no damage, but if you do land a stun there should be some way to follow up.
