The Fall of Riot

It is now clear that the Riot team has failed in many levels.

Programming of the new patch is clearly very bad. Problems started when i tried to login and it would even open the launcher.

I thought to my self " its ok i will just re-install" only to realize that the links for instalation are not working. Then suddenly they started working but the launcher wont start, giving me a message that my firewall is blocking it or that i dont have internet.

BUT i dont have a firewall blocking it and my internet is fine.

Then came the even bigger disapointment, i came on the forums and there is no offcial explanation. I understand this is a free game, but i have spent money on it.

So PROGRAM has failed. --- Support staff on forums has FAILED, and the fact that i even had a hard time logging on the forum to make this post shows that if RIOT dont hire some capable employs soon we will loose every euro we spent on this game.

I hope that someone gives an offcial explanaton about all this problems instead of hidding.

This is a stupid thread. I'm sorry you don't like it, but it is.

There is nothing here that needs to be addressed. Did you even take into consideration that if there is some type of problem as you have claimed.... that the guys in charge of fixing said issue have not figured out what it is? Due to that factor they cannot possibly announce an issue they are not sure of. I mean really do you expect for them to magically know what the problem is? Not to mention they can simply be actually fixing the issue instead of chatting with you. That only waste time that could have been used to fix whatever it is.

They aren't going to post an announcement to give you false information about an issue. Just like every other time something has happened ranked play has been taking down. I imagine that Lost Forgiven has also been enabled.

If this was a few days of this going on with no word from Riot I'd agree with you, but a few hours and you suddenly claim the downfall of Riot. Bring up 'ideas' of boycotting because you couldn't play for a little while... while other major games go down for pretty much 2/3 of a day weekly for maintenance purpose when this one stays up except for patches. Actually even then it has been a long time since I remember the servers actually being down for a patch, but I'll admit it may just be my timing there.

I hate to have become this guy, but if a little issue while league is still very much playable is a major problem that you would bring something like this up and claim the downfall of a company.... Maybe you should just uninstall League and get a life.

I understand your frustration. The lack of communication to customers comes off a bit as a "F*** You". However I seriously doubt this is the fall of RIOT and I doubt you're going to stop playing. Right now the only thing I'm getting is unable to log into PVP.Net.

i agree the same thing happened to me whats wrong why cant i get on i dont under stand it was working just fine a min ago.

Maybe we should start a blog about no player spending any money for 2015, i am sure this will get them back down to earth, give they a reason to care about the community, it is clear that the only thing they care about is cash.

Well some people have to spend money. Granted some pay a huge sum which is how free games work, but... regardless you think you are entitled and shouldn't pay at all to support a company that makes a game you love to play... is well stupid. Just because something happens doesn't mean you should attempt to boycott.

Especially for games as large as league is (which is currently the most played game in the world with something like 30 billion hours put into it by all the summoners(which is the second most played of all time with only world of warcraft logging more hours with 60 billion). Take all that into account before making stupid threads like this one.

Not even going to mention the people who develop the game and run the website are not the same people. Understand that there a many different departments in the company. As for league not patching or whatever... I'd imagine that the problem is on your end as I'm not having the same issues, and that is despite playing on a potato.

It is just like a person who is caught being asinine to hide behind a wall of "You are a troll" and "You are a flammer" when they can't respond to allegations. Just because a person uses a word in the correct definition, and doesn't choose to use 'big' and 'fancy' words. Does not mean they are a flammer. All this proves is that you only posted this thread to get people to agree with you despite you being ignorant of anything that is actually going on in Riot HQ.

Attacking my person also proves you are on the defensive since your argument cannot stand on its own. Not once did I say anything negative about you as a person.

However the fact remains if you are going crazy because you cannot play for a day or so.... Speaking of boycotting a company for a year due to that... All that means is you need help and you need to uninstall League of Legends to hopefully rid yourself of temptation.
